5 Great Wordpress Desktop Blogging Tools
“I hate the Wordpress post editor. In fact, I’m not too fond of the entire admin area, but I love wordpress as a whole package. But with these 5 desktop blogging tools, I now love Wordpress all over again.” - James Thomas, MentallyRetired.com
This posting by James was very helpful. It turns out that I was most interested in BlogDesk, which was not one of the five reviewed. Regardless, I got a good sense of what is available and was therefore able to quickly make a decision to try BlogDesk. Of course, it helped that BlogDesk.org features a testimonial from DuncanRiley.com - I follow Duncan on Twitter, so it’s a case of knowing something about someone who’s using what I’m considering using.
I will post a review of BlogDesk.org once I have used it for a week or so.

Brad, I’m a huge fan of the FireFox plugin ScribeFire as a blog writing tool.

One thing I love is highlighting a quote somewhere and when I trigger ScribeFire there’s the quote ready to go in my new post.
