That page link you sent me gives every appearance of being a post-payment product delivery page.
If it is a post-payment product delivery page, supposed to be accessible only for people who have paid for that material, to take that material would be theft.
If that’s the case, can you please NOT send any more such pages to me.
And please consider that it is not an appropriate use of the _____ group mailing list to distribute such links either.
Send me the link to their home page or offer page instead, so I can make my own assessment of whether I wish to invest in their product or not.
Any time you’re sharing something, use an affiliate link so you can be compensated for your efforts in sharing the information, if someone finds it of value sufficient to make a purchase.
I’ve explained my personal ethics and values to you several times now and it seems you still have not heard and understood what I have said to you.
Please don’t offer me any more of other people’s intellectual property any more unless you have their consent to distribute it.
I have felt that you have pressured me to act contrary to my ethics and values on a number of occasions.
I’m afraid I have lacked the courage to powerfully decline your requests, merely deflecting you with demurring phrases, but I do so powerfully now:
Please don’t ask me for any more information that I have paid for and cannot give to you without the consent of the owner of the intellectual property.
I hope that you will see that I am setting these two boundaries in our relationship for both our highest goods.
Free gifts, bonuses, material that you have re-sell or re-print rights for, that’s all A-okay, you’re most welcome to send that and ask for it too if I have material that falls into those categories.
I’m CC’ing Z on this too, because I feel I need a trusted third party who knows us both to be aware of this conversation and to offer a reality check to either me or you if you think this email in any way off the mark.
Y, I assert you will not have the kind of success you hope for in Internet marketing until you start to properly respect other people’s intellectual property rights. I haven’t been a saint in this respect in the past, but I now realise that it is a fundamental pre-requisite to success.
If I don’t respect other people’s IP, how can I legitimately expect others to respect mine, or even attempt to enforce my IP rights, without being a complete hypocrite?
That’s how the successful Internet marketers make money and it is how you will make money too if you put your mind, talents and resources into it.
You know the parable of the talents in the bible?
Don’t be the guy who buries his talents in the ground (or on his bookshelves, CDs and hard-drives) and loses everything through inaction.
Y, I think you are a great guy, just with a few mis-apprehensions about how prosperity is achieved.
I urge you to get into ACTION and build something.
Put the knowledge and talents you have to good use!
