Thumbs up for a timely meme : Namaste Economics

Namaste Economics is a term that describes a set of economic princples defining the path of conscious business.

Anywhere I see the word “integrity” used in the opening paragraph of an explanation of something, my mind instantaneously jumps to a higher quantum state.

No doubt this is a response to the deep imprinting of Landmark Education’s source document into my brain, the results of reading the entire document aloud in front of the mirror every day for several months while coaching on Landmark Education’s Introduction Leaders Program.

Integrity is a foundational distinction of the Landmark Education Curriculum For Living.

In fact, it is said that without integrity, nothing works.

Integrity is used in the first paragraph of the Introduction to Namaste Economics on their website http://www.namasteeconomics.com/

“Namaste Economics is merely an expression of the evolution of humanity. It represents the theory behind the latest advancements in science, psychology, business and media. Each of these areas point to one trend – integrity. That is, the bleeding edge of human evolution, and therefor business, is integration. We must quickly learn objectively all matters concerning our environment, determine our own understanding of the nature of reality, dive deep into self-exploration AND lastly, integrate them.”

Discovering the true nature of reality and integrating those truths into our wholistic self is one of the golden truisms identified by all the greatest metaphysical masters.

It is a principle of which Buckminster Fuller speaks in INTUITION. The same principle is enunciated by Charles F. Haanel in “The Masterkey System”. I will be blogging about the latter work repeatedly and in some detail in the coming months.

Tellingly, it is what drew me to discover Namaste Economics, developed by Brandon Peele. Tonight as I have been in the beginning stages of creating BlogAndGrow.com, I have read several articles, one of which is “Manual For Life” by Brandon Peele.

[May 21, 2007 Email Edition of Tools For Transformation edited by Peter Shepherd]

In “Manual For Life” Brandon identifies the truth that “happiness and fulfillment rest upon self awareness, personal mastery, personal philosophy and attainment of flow states”.

Brandon then goes on to assert that the “vast reams of personal growth, spiritual and psychological works can be summed upon in a simple framework for human life.”

  1. Get your act together
  2. Learn the territory
  3. Flow

It’s no accident that I found Brandon’s article tonight. The concept of flow has been on my mind. I have earlier been seeking ways to read a dozen finance related books within the next week while meeting all my other commercial, political and personal commitments.

I read about a system called Photo Reading, as reviewed on Steve Pavlina’s blog. (link to be added)

That emphased opening up, relaxing and allowing the subconscious mind to work on behalf of the conscious mind. Through proper training it is suggested that a reading speed of up to 25,000 words per minute is attainable. Other people who I personally know and trust have told me they have achieved this capability following this type of system.

Flow is a state whereby we reach ‘the zone’, the space of optimal experience of whatever it is we are engaged with in the every NOW of our consciousness. Here I am borrowing part of a phrase from Brandon with a tip of the hat to Eckhardt Tolle.

Flow is the experience I am having as I write this blog posting. While I know it is discursive and lacking a tightly focused theme, I am perfectly content to allow my thoughts to flow and words to emerge as I explore the importance of Namaste Economics.

A World That Works For Everyone is a seemingly impossible ideal. Yet it is one I repeatedly return to when seeking a place to stand, a rock of belief upon which to erect the edifice of my purpose in life. I know I’m not alone in this conviction.

Therefore it is obvious that any definition of economics which advocates each of us coming from our highest authentic selves to engage with the highest authentic selves of others is tuned into the cosmic consciousness of the universe in a way that will lead to greatest prosperity for all those who choose it.

“The opportunity of Namaste Economics is incredibly compelling. By incorporating the principles of Namaste Economics into your organization, you can position your business to thrive and benefit from the ongoing authenticity revolution. The benefits are as profound as they are diverse.”

From reading Brandon’s work on this principled approach to business, I wholeheartedly endorse his perspective and the mission he has embarked upon, to share this concept with business people the world over.

An example Brandon gives is the emerging importance of the LOHAS market. As BlogAndGrow.com has just been born this day with it’s first About page and postings, I have not yet blogged about LOHAS. So in the first instance, I encourage you to visit Namaste Economics to learn Brandon’s vision for LOHAS and in the second instance, search it in Google.

As a side-note, I have been an active LOHAS business operator since joining Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO) as an Independent Distributor in 2005. I have been philosophically attuned to LOHAS for a few years before joining YLEO, a company that is immersed in the LOHAS market philosophy.

As regards Namaste Economics, I will return to it as a topic for further exploration soon. Meanwhile, I wish Brandon every success with spreading this excellent piece of memetic engineering.

Namaste to all living beings. Love, light and blessings to you all.

Namaste looks excellent.

It fits with my values and approaches to life and business and I will most definitely be sharing this with others too.

What is the best way for me to introduce it to my employers?

Dear Serena, thank you for your comment and your question. I have written a new blog posting in response to it, as it is a question that is worthy of a detailed response.
